This small park in Pensacola is in a beautiful setting by the water. Very serene and calming. This is also good lace for birding.

The park has been closed since Hurricane Sally. The seawall is still totalled, barricades are still up to prevent taxpayers from tripping over the broken cement sidewalk and destroyed railings lying helter skelter. Other than the fact that it was a bird sanctuary, and was a good place to catch fish, shrimp, and collect oysters for days, it's very, very quiet. My therapist recommended it to me as my personal wilderness/pseudo survival day trip, not to be confused with after sunset. After sundown, all bets are off, I'm already home or fairly close to a safer environment. Survival flips from pseudo to full on WATCHIT! Better to stay away from the place until repairs are begun and finished after the next three or four storms require more federal spending 💰. Enjoy............?
