If you're going through the GYCDL program and have never driven a truck before, stay away from here. They have a trainer that will make you feel incompetent. Then instead of training you, call you names behind your back and tell other students he his going to get you kicked out. If you have the choice, go to a different terminal. You have been warned. I see they replied saying it was without merit but I know what I went through and other students know what i went through. Its a shame this company would lie on behalf of a trainer that made them look bad. All without even contacting me about it. Shame. Should tell you all you need to know.

Stopped in for headlight bulbs antifreeze and washer fluid after a random drug test. They wouldn't let me take 2 weeks to study for the test.. lol

I dont think roehl goes into Mexico just the states and Canada
You have to get your permit before they will put you through training.
Just know you will be put in an auto after training unless you go owner op..
I'm not sure about being trained with an automatic. Less than a year ago they were all standard trans for training, you can of course get an auto right when your done. But if you ask me it's better to train with a stick, because if you take your test with an automatic, it means you'll get a note on your license that says trained on automatic only. Which means if you want to work for a company that only has manual transmission trucks, you have to spend the time and money to retrain and retest
Yes , they will probably pull your cdr , make sure their are no dui or other issues . Then take you out on a safety drive . Roehl is very specific as to what we do on the road and how we operate a truck . Safety is not just a catch phrase here , they live it , and you get paid for it. Call them up . Talk to them . I'm an old timer myself , buy into doing things the Roehl way and you're set for the next part of your career .
They stopped doing training there last year. Now all training is done In Gary, Indiana or Marshfield, Wisconsin I think. (I think also Appleton, WI and Atlanta, GA) Call a recruiter to verify that. That is what my co-workers tell me now and what I was told in August of last year (2018) when I started.
No, they do not. They do offer paid CDL training but they will send you to either Marshfield, WI, Appleton, WI, Gary, IN or Atlanta, GA.
Yes, but you wont actually get any money until your third week.
