nothing but trouble here. I better not comment about this outfit I will lose a job, nothing too terrible to concern myself with. They simply are not worth the effort to please them. Wish I could say more but it could cause the end of 15 years service.

Update 8-29-22: I need someone in a position of authority to debunk a rumor for me: Rumor has it that one of the newest prerequisites for hiring a driver is that they will never, regardless of circumstances, sweep out a dry van trailer. Is that true or am I misinterpreting the fact that it's been several years since I've found an empty trailer anywhere that didn't need to be swept out before it's used again. Please note that I still love the people here and the yard has plenty of room to move around in. :-D

No but they will put you in a rental car to Wilmer texas.
What kind? Do you have a CDL already and some driving experience? If so, then yes would go with a Trainer if you don't have much over the road. They used to not hire a driver unless they've had 2 yrs OTR but im not sure if thats changed. Talk to a Recruiter. We are an Exceptional Company to work for!
What, Six Pac? Crete is a trucking company, hence "Carrier"
No you have to have one when you apply
Unfortunately, they only have toll free numbers. If it is a general question, I may be able too help you though.
They have both.
Vacation pay at Crete is based on your average productivity in a 5-day work week. For this reason it can vary quite a bit. When I've taken my one-week vacation pay it has been between $800 - $1,000. You do not have to take your vacation pay and your vacation days at the same time. The days that you get as a week off is actually 5 days - a business week. So your first year you get 5 vacation days and pay for those 5 days you're in the second year it is two weeks paid or 10 days. It remains at two weeks up until your fifth year as I understand it.
No HAZMAT required. Pay is based on the last 3 years experience. So if you've been driving for the last 3 years it will be top NEW hire pay at $.48/mile anything less will drop you to $.46/mile on the Crete side. If you go reefer with Shafer it's $.48-.50/mile.
