I would like to preface my review by saying Mountain Park has some amazing and very caring employees and residents. Unfortunately, like many businesses today, they are understaffed and it is apparent in the maintenance of the facility as well as the food quality and selection. Therefore, they really are not able to provide the level of service presented during the sales tour. My husband and I were residents at Mountain Park from May 2021 until he passed away in early January of 2022. After he passed, I moved to a nearby group home. Per the rental agreement, Mountain Park requires payment for 30 days following notification. During that time, my son and daughter-in-law were periodically moving our belongings out of the apartment. With 8 days left in our rental period, Mountain Park entered the apartment without notification or my permission and repainted it in preparation for the next renters. This was done while I still had personal property in the apartment. The next time my son and daughter-in-law arrived at the apartment, they found it was left unlocked. Although, Mountain Park management was very apologetic and admitted that what they did was wrong, my request for reimbursement based on the time they had entered and started working on the apartment was declined. Mountain Park’s management’s conduct reinforces the reality that maximized profit is Spectrum’s primary objective.

My Mother is a resident for the past 7 months. She is in the independent living part on the 3rd floor. I was very nervous in the beginning because this is her first stay out of her house. It did not take long to see she is in a wonderful place. The facilities are wonderful and the staff is super friendly❤️

I went to the Mountain Park facility in a fact finding mission for my mom. I arrived with the preconceived idea that a place like this would be an absolute last resort for my mom. After my visit, I came away feeling this could not only work, but be a great benefit to moms “psych” because of the activities, chances for social interaction as well as a place to meet her physical needs when she is no longer able to live on her own. What a great facility! If mom’s time comes where she is no longer independent at her condo, the Mountain Park facility will be my first call.

We would have chosen Mountain Park except there were no one bedrooms available. Brenda has been excellent throughout the process. She introduced us to Nurse Terri which was very positive and informative. We ended up chosing another Spectrum property, Enclave.
