Only email. I literally thought I was communicating with an automated service. Zero quality for customer services. Literally the worst. And cold.

Even with all the talk and warnings regarding having to send payment for license renewals via mail again, I mailed mine only 4 weeks and 4 days before my expiration and was a touch nervous I hadn't done it sooner. When I saw the application was still able to be done online, I mistakenly thought that rumors I had heard were untrue and the whole thing could be done online still. Turns out I just misunderstood. My license renewal was emailed to me the morning of Fri Aug 26, and that is exactly one week, or possibly even only 4 days, after they would have received it in the mail. Speedy quick. Only about 3 days slower than it was last renewal where the whole process was done online. I have noticed a couple of bad reviews were given because therapists do not have the correct information. As of this calendar year, 2022, yes, we are required to take CEUs again to renew. The only concession still being given due to covid is that all 24 of our CEUs for renewals this year are allowed to be done online, whereas before the rule was that only half of them could be online CEUs. So anyone at all renewing this year would have had to complete them. I'm sure it even applies if you're renewing a license that you were late to reinstate That was supposed to originally be reinstated the previous calendar year. So to Penny and all others, you have to have CEUs. You have to mail in payment and check the website to verify, but I do believe it is required to be a cashier's check or money order, not a personal check and certainly not cash. Make sure you are following the directions carefully. I have also heard from others in social media groups that yes, they do not respond to phone calls, but you will eventually get information via email if you communicate that way. I think a lot of people just don't read instructions on websites or emails very carefully or still seem to think that a bunch of concessions are still being made for covid. It is important for massage therapist to stay educated in their field, we couldn't exactly have that no CEUs rule going on forever. I don't think we ever should have had it at all. The online only thing was enough of a concession, they should have made that the rule for 2020 and 2021 as well

honestly the worst. ive been working with the board to get my license since I was moving from out of state and ive been dealing with them since april. its been almost 7 weeks and my license is still pending. i sent everything they asked, and ive been without work and im now having to look into others means of work to be able to pay my rent. this is absolutely ridiculous. i get nothing but unemotional emails and there is no working number or any way to speed up the process
