Hello and thanks for reaching out. Regarding rental assistance, the City of Houston no longer offers rental assistance. You can however check with in your community with any of the nonprofit organizations to see if they can help you with rent. You can also reach out to the United Way organization to see if they too can help with rental assistance because they have a list of nonprofit organizations that they may be able to share with anyone that calls. if you're trying to get on housing, you can call the Housing Authorities office. Their phone number is 713-260-5000. The Housing Authority is the only office that you can put her name on a waiting list for housing.
