A jewel in the middle of the Heights. There is a small permanent collection and shows which are usually quarterly. There is no fee. Always a fun time. During the”W” year's FBI investigated. The art unlike any you’ll find anywhere else. The staff knows the art intimately the small space holds large experiences. Safety protocols are in place. Limiting number of people in but the shows are still continuing. The art is worth the trip. Visited today 23.10.22 the shows are changing regularly,. Reservations are required there is no entry free. Plenty of street parking. Art you will finddno where else

Neat, free experience.

I didn't have to make an appointment. I went on a Sunday and was able to walk around as soon as I got there. 🤘
Not that bad.
There is a ramp at the entrance and a couple visitor parking spots in front of the building. There is a lot of space to move around the exhibits.
It's as long as you want to take. You can read every art description, and soak it in. Or you can do a quick buzz thru for the highlights. Your choice.
No just have to make an appointment and they work off donations
yes.
Best to call the museum direct for this type of question.
Thank you for your inquiry, Amyrella. As I understand it, there is a special category for commercial entries in the parade. I can refer to St. Arnold Brewery. They have 5 or 6 art cars, commissioned by a couple of different local artists, (Gonzo 247 & Robynn Sanders are the two I know of) The Orange Show Center for visionary Art is the organization that actually puts on the Houston Art Car Parade. You can go to the website: www.thehoustonartcarparade.com and check out the rules. I hope this is helpful information for you. Thanks again and good luck!
Its not crowded usually so will get they just have 3 or 4 slots. On the street also u can park
It is closed Monday and Tuesday. Open Wednesday through Sunday 11:00-6:00.
No fee but there is a place to make a donation and help defray some of their expenses.
Free..... Donations accepted. Great for kids
The last time we were there, I was told to call ahead because the museum is run by volunteers, and occasionally they gave to close unexpectedly. But yes, it is free. Parking can be a bit dicey.
