First of all they tried to turn us away at the door even though we had a reservation. So pretty much we paid for a downgrade of the two rooms we asked for and got put into one. When we got into the room it wasn't clean we had found a pair of underwear underneath the pull out bed. We asked for towels the day before twice by phone and never received them. Had to go down to the lobby which took a while because one elevator was broken and you couldn't take the stairs because it was locked from the outside. You can go outside but you can't go through the door for the first floor. The amenities were good though. We were grateful that they let the pool stay open a little longer for the bachelorette party. The lobby was beautiful and the club was nice The guy at the bar was very nice great customer service. The ladies at the front desk and probably use more training and customer service and not look at us like we're inconveniencing them whenever we ask for something.

Really looked forward to our stay based on the reviews. Unfortunately our stay was bad from the start. We drove 9 hours to the hotel, so we were ready to relax in our reserved room. I waited 10 minutes for the front desk to stop joking around with another employee to check us in. Breakfast in the morning COSTS, which we forfeited our breakfast tickets due to waiting another 10 minutes without service. The cherry on top was the 2 LARGE cockroaches on the wall in the hallway. I will pay more next time to ensure a better quality hotel.

Got a last minute deal on a room for a great price on priceline. The room purchased with one king was not available anymore when I checked in late, so hubs and I ended up in a full bed. Also, found at random an old dry banana peel under the bed, which I blindly (and ignorantly) found after dropping my debit card and reaching underneath the bed to retrieve it. Other than those two issues, we felt it was a good stay for the price. The room was clean, cool, and quiet. Definitely would have hit up the hot tub and pool if I had had the time it looked nice.

Carlos at the front desk should be a manager. He gave the best customer service that I've had in a long time. He can turn a 3 star review into a 5 star! The room was nice and clean and it had a mini fridge and microwave. There wasn't any towels at the pool and when I told Carlos at the front desk he said he would inform housekeeping. Housekeeping said it would be at least 30 min before they could get towels in the pool room and when I explained my 9 yr old granddaughter was in there shivering Carlos walked to the storage room and got me a towel for her. Something small...maybe...but it showed that he was willing to go above and beyond and that meant a lot to us. I don't know what his hours are but he was there when I checked in, anytime I went to front desk and at check out so he is very hard working. It is hard to get great customer service these days so when an employee goes above and beyond even when they are probably tired and stressed it shows his character and his ability. Again, a thank you to Carlos and I hope he advances in the company soon...it would be well deserved and I am positive that the company will benefit grately for it.
