Terrible leadership displayed by Asha (the individual responsible for donation). I will take my donations somewhere else.

This place was an absolute joke. I briefly stayed with my 3 children & am appalled at the way they treat women & children who are already in a bad situation. My children & I were forced to walk the streets during the day, rain or shine, until we were able to come back to cook dinner. If you have no money, good luck feeding your children or washing their clothes because you are only allowed to wash one very small load of laundry a week. They offer no services to help you get out of that place, instead they do everything they can to keep you there for as long as they can before they call cps (not on me personally) to try to take your kids away from you. Oh & if you are able to find a job this "shelter" is going to make you pay a crazy amount of rent to share a room with someone else & their children. I wouldn't donate a penny to this place directly if you really want to help someone in need conside going to speak to these mothers in person & maybe sponsoring their family.

Save yourself the headache. Don’t go here.

This place helps a lot of people. It's a small community within itself. Everybody pulls together and works together and it works. It's free for some and those that can pay do. They'll help you with medical, dental and other resources. It's not for everyone but it is great for those down and out. Good people.

I own a boarding home. That house the homeless. But you have to have some income of $700 a month & up...
No. But there is a shelter associated with Turning Point Center that houses women and children only
Yes. Talk to George Gomez, the director. You will need your TX Driver License or TX ID Card and Soc. Sec. Card. Take proof of income also.
Yes.
Its been yrs since I've been to this 50+shelter for Singles Men&women that's run by George Gomez@Turning Point Center-Houston TX SPRING BRANCH area....it allows people to be there day&night. Its a nice well kept area&expanding.
If that does not work out, go to Star of Hope on Reed road. It's for women and children. To get a chance at a room you will need to be there as early as 7am. You will like it there and they will help you there. You can also call the Intake dept to inquire if they have beds. As of last week they had some. I'm praying things work outr for you.
Yes there is a bus line but it is for people in Recovery and you have to pay rent weekly.
Sometimes they will sometimes they won't
come in for an assessment.

There's an elderly lady here at my apartment complex needing one. She says she needs one for her back to sleep
I am a 49 yr old woman .....so deeply wounded from years of abuse from my mother, father and sometimes menisine behaviors from family.....I haven been stable in a long time traveling back and forth from state to state trying to find my way.....finally decided I needed to go game to stay with my mother to save and get on my feet....but last year 3 days after my birthday my mother stabbed me in the head.....when I was 14 my father tried the same thing ....years and yrs of verbal and physical abuse from my partners blaming me for everything they do to me.....not wanting to retailiaite I went on looking foolish to myself because I had not done anything to prevent this.....so I finally decided to leavey abuser, even had the perfect person whom had caught the fight with me..only to leave one abuser right into the hands of another one.l.so I guess I'm one who attracts that type..so now I'm running from two abusers..no where to go out of money.as always the likely story for someone going thru
