This hotel was gross. The carpet was stained. There was black mold on the window sill. The lamp shade was dirty. The area around the toilet was filthy. The laundry room was scary In general, it was just very unclean., rooms very small, and smelly. There were no towels by the pool. The list goes on. We had booked and paid for a two night stay on line but after taking a swim after a hot day of travel, we decided there was no way we could stay here. When I complained to the front desk, they offered to move us to a suite, but that wouldn’t change the filthy conditions, so we declined. Thankfully AAA got involved and we got a partial refund. We found another hotel a few blocks away that was a vast improvement for the same price. This was a costly and time consuming mistake for us. Don’t make the same mistake. Stay elsewhere!

Friendly service on check in. Rooms were a little dated, but clean/functional. The whole place needs a deep clean, and some investment. Breakfast was reasonably good, although a glass room in the baking heat is a poor design choice. The cleanliness outside was particularly poor with bins not emptied for days. For the price it was OK, but I do still expect some basic maintenance and cleaning that needs to be addressed. Security is another issue. Our key cards stopped working on the second day. As we struggled with the door, staff just let us into the room, no questions. Getting a replacement key card from the front desk allowed me to just give them the room number, and in seconds I had a working card with no ID check, no booking check, nothing. Frighteningly lax security. This alone wipes a star off.

Staff was friendly and helpful. For the price of the room it could have been cleaner. There was food wrappers under the bed and a half drank soda bottle in the fridge from a previous guest. The bed cover was stained and had holes near one corner, it needs to be retired. The towels and was cloth were clean and no stains but were very thin and worn from use. I gave them 3 stars because when I told them about the issues I had with the room they gave me a 50% discount voucher on my next stay. However after reading the fine print the voucher is only good at that location. I have no idea when I will be in SLC again so the voucher was kind of useless.

This has to be one of the worst hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. The rooms were dingy looking and smelled highly of smoke and there's no elevator at this hotel. I was on the second floor. You could hear everybody walking by people talking next to you. Talking all night long. The only thing good about the hotel is the bar downstairs. Other than that I probably would never go there again. I moved hotels after one night. Moved down the street to the four points by Marriott a night and day difference.

It's a rhetorical question, Google! Apparently you haven't stayed there enough.
If the old testament of the bible forbids it (aside from shellfish and mixing fabrics) then it's illegal in the Mormon state.
