Beautiful, pleasant, quiet, you can walk, spend some time, share a sandwich, talk or simply immerse yourself in your thoughts and imagine that you are floating on the calm waters of the Cooper River. I recommend it a thousand times. I would visit it a million times, as much as my time allows.

What a beautiful park with ample parking! The entire path is 3.8 miles, and it was not overcrowded. It took about an hr and 20 minutes to complete. It was well worth it. There's so much to see. I love this park!

There is only one Gazebo in the entire park where you can grill. You have to get there early in the morning and sit there to reserve your place so no one else can take the spot...for such a big park they should have more grilling areas. The Gazebo is located on the RT 130 side.
If they have the concert where they normally do then there are concrete bleachers where you can sit. However, if you can find a space to sit, bringing a beach chair should be fine. Hope you enjoy the concert!

Agree with Dannie. There is a boat club nearby which offers canoes and non-motor boats, but imo jet skis might not be allowed.
