Great shop with great, knowledgeable owners, Dan and Ted. Staff is very knowledgeable. Prices are very competitive and reasonable. Theres no excessive markups. Look for Toadies memorabilia, like the Rubberneck platinum album, a signed 90s era poster, and Dan’s original floating man Rubberneck painting. Little store, but packed with goodies! Highly recommended! I just picked up these 3 Third Man 7” records. I also purchased the White Stripes slip mat and even the U-Turn turntable from them 2 years ago. They got me started on my high fidelity journey!

What are the Covid safety practices like here?

The people at Panther City are excellent. Very friendly owners and staff, helpful in any way you need a record store to be. The records are in tip top shape, I never have to worry about a record being dirty or scratched. They are also still very actively fighting the spread of COVID19. Capacity limitations, everyone is required to wear a mask and keep your distance from others as much as possible.

I recently came across an album that I had stored in my closet for years and years! It is a Elton John, rock of the Westies, 1975 copy still in the factory plastic. Can you tell me if this is worth anything? And do you buy albums ? Thank you, Monica

Hi Monica, Ted from Panther City Vinyl here, thanks for your question. A sealed copy of that record would usually go for between $10-$20. Yes we buy albums, bring them by the store and we can take a look and make you an offer. Cheers!
