We are an authorized Mul-T-Lock dealer in Chicago that can sell and install the locks as well as provide copying of keys. Mul-T-Lock keys CAN NOT be made unless the original key is present. It really depends on how you open it Our Locksmith will try to Pick it open first or use tools to bypass the lock so yes you'll still be able to use it in some cases, it will need to be drilled open which means the cylinder itself needs to be replaced

Depends on the door really, if your looking for something quick Schlage is usually a pretty good set up but then you'll have to find someone to install. The locks we use are all higher grade commercial and will definitely be better then what you find in retail stores. If you need more help or information please feel free to give us a call.
