I was turned away for a registration and told to make an appointment, but they took my check for a property tax without an appointment. Not sure how they prioritize.

You must schedule appt for all transactions. When I scheduled my appt it was Oct. The first open appt available was not until Dec. 17th. Regardless it is the only way at this time to get in.

Getting an appointment is tough which location has an available slot. But to answer your question I was able to change the out of state car title and Registration from this location. My son knows how to just pull it up online I think you just put in Harris County Properties are locate Harris County Properties Google it and he pulled our place up and it had the name of the owner listed a picture of the property and everything I will ask him when he wakes up the exact site if you have not found it by now.

I've been here a few times and have been in and out so quickly it was unbelievable. Generally the best times to go anywhere that's usually crowded, or has long lines, is just after the "first thing in the morning" crowd, 30 or 45 minutes before lunch and 30 minutes before closing.
