First off my hair wasn't drenched in oil, I didn't even use any type of oil in my hair. We spoke on the phone several times before and you voice stated this knowing that it was my first time and I found you on google not your booking site. But I get it you have a written policy on your site and I completely understand. You can 20 min late to my appointment then had me go buy different hair just to tell me you couldn't do it. You kept telling me my hair wasn't going to look good so why would I want you to do it if you're speaking negatively. Then you wouldn't give me my deposit back for an appointment YOU cancelled and basically threatened to charge my card for a style you didn't want to do. You came off very rude to me as soon as I walked in the door so don't be upset I left an honest review that's all. Have a great day !

DO NOT USE KAY (KENESHA). She is very unprofessional and was upset that I asked questions about the style she was doing. She told me that she can do braids with a frontal for me but had never done it before. The appointment escalated to the point where I thought she was physically trying to fight me. She told me she can't do small braids because her son is alone at home. She should have managed her time as I uploaded a picture of the style I wanted when I made the appointment as she requires it so she knew in advance the style I wanted. She had me pay $125 ($100 for lace and $25 for deposit) and ended up not doing my hair because she realized that she could not do it. She kept the lace and my money (I've filed a police report for theft of product and service). She is the most unprofessional, lazy, trashy stylist I have ever encountered!! DO NOT BOOK WITH HER!!!

Policy states full payment is due prior to services being rendered to avoid no shows and cancellations. Braiders travel far distances to receive a cancellation the day of. In the event this occur, they have to be secured, as there is no pto provided. This is their livelihood as I’m sure your job is yours. If you don’t show, the braider isn’t compensated during the time you’ve blocked off. All of this information is provided “before” your appointment is booked. If you did not agree with the policy you had the option to not schedule the appointment. I hope this answers your question. Have a good day.
