A rare FISH

15$/night, only campground within miles, no water or electricity. Had picnic table and fire pit, nice area close to canyon. It was nice. Good stop if you're passing through and need to stop. There's wild dogs.

We didn’t know what to expect staying here, but with it being at the end of our road trip, we thought it would be different. It was definitely different. The camp site is really run down, full of rubbish and broken cars and buildings. The toilet didn’t flush and we couldn’t find the showers. Luckily we had our own water supply as the “barrel” provided did not look safe. The owner was pleasant and lovely, which makes this review hard to write, but the campground was really not how it looks on the website. If you want traditional camping and living with nature, then sure, give it a go. But if you expect even the basic of utilities (like a toilet), then give this place a miss. There are plenty of other campsites near by for similar prices.

The host was very friendly when we got there. We had a nice chat with him as we were building our fire. He was very friendly & pleasant. It was only $11 to camp. It was super peaceful &quiet, plus we had an amazing night sky of stars. We always go camping prepared with water-no issues at all. Also, make sure to check out the hike open to the public-awesome views and a nice workout :)

Really enjoyed my stay. Stayed in the Hogan and loved it. As for the toilets: get over it. There's no running water and you'll survive for your stay, don't be prissy about it people. Howard was a great host, even got up to sell us wood at night and was very friendly.

I dont know the answer to that. The campground is quiet, loved that. Facilities very limited...kinda yucky outhouses. Solar shower almost no pressure. But other than that, we enjoyed our stay
