Bad experience after 7 year membership. They had a 32% price increase in June. My account was on autopay, but Capital One kicked this back as an error. Capital One did their job, SkyCreek didn't value me enough for a reach out and I didn't notice. So after taking summer off due to injury and heat, I went up there to hit a bucket of balls and they wanted me to pay back months to stay a member. I couldn't see spending that money when I really think it's their fault (the 32% price increase triggered the autopay to be questioned, and they didn't proactively or reactively contact me to make sure a 32% price increase would be acceptable. I think this is called "slamming" and maybe the attorney general will want to know. I also could (today) pay over $300 for a bucket of balls ($200 prior months plus prepay for the next) . So I tried to discuss this with the GM who really didn't want to keep me as a customer. He never took any accountability and since they have good membership now - his apathy showed. I've watched their price increase over the years - but the 32% was a shock. I always had a few billing problems (I paid but their system showed I did not), and their services have been routinely shut down (driving range broken, restaurant closed. Somewhat normal golf club stuff - but I never really felt they cared and now I know. I will be messaging Jonathan Bird (GM) and Josh Smith (Owner) to let them know how their 32% price increase and bad customer treatment will trigger some increased communication on my part to other golfers. They asked us all for grace during COVID, and I kept paying - even thru a rotator cuff issue, and some health issues - but now when membership is back up they are making it hard for the little guys to stay in. I wish I hadn't spent so much money with these guys over the years - they really make you feel like you are doing them a favor.
