To bring a dog in the park requires a permit from the Forest Preserve. They sell one day or annual. You can buy them through the county website.
Sun up to sun down all year round.
Dog owners who are 65+ are entitled to one free annual permit per hoisehold per year with proof of senior status.
The big question is, is your dog's recall reliable. If you can't count on him to come when called, you'd be better off at a fenced park.
