I do not recommend NRG. We were so excited to play here, but really disappointed with the lack of structure and player development. No refs, teenager coaches that do not correct/coach during the game, allowing blatant foot faults. We’ve never played in any league of any sport, where athletes going into 2nd grade are playing against others going into 5th grade. The only positive is the nice facility. We might not even finish this season. We had better experiences at Fieldhouse and the Y. No service in the gym, so had to walk outside the building to use my phone. We paid over $100 for the same NRG t-shirt every player on every team got and another kid to “coach” mine.

No refs, coaches have no idea about rules or coaching, practices only before games, age groups are very spread out, all teams have same color jerseys, coaches are teenagers, no consistency on rules of the game, strategy is non-existent, etc.,etc….. The YMCA has a better program for young girls than NRG. YMCA is consistent on all levels. I will not return to NRG next season. What a waste…
