I make a run to the landfill about once a month, it's much cheaper than a trash collector. They charge 50 cents for a kitchen garbage bag and $1 for a contractors bag. They take all kinds of recyclables that trash collectors don't. Cardboard, electronics, metal, magazines, newspapers, plastic, cans, glass, used motor oil all of that is no charge! The place is really kept clean and clear of fallen debri. Just make sure you tarp down your truck or trailer so you don't create litter on your pleasant drive through the country to get there.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff and management. Some newer people haven't a clue on how the process works but other than that great!! It's all about trying to help each other.

They always allow for a major amount of brush to come in at a decent cost of literally cleaned 7 trees of my property yesterday in 4 trees up my property today and my total expense out of pockets about $45.

Mixed messages. I used the landfill for the 1st time a few weeks ago. At the time I asked what the process was if I brought sod in bags from my lawn. I was told it's $1 per bag. I came twice since then, paid the fee and dumped the bags. Sunday, 4/18/21 I was turned away. I told him I'd done it twice before, but the guy said it's against the rules. "Not everyone follows the rules" he said. This coming from a guy not wearing a mask. I thought that was a rule. He turned me away. So I went home, put the bags on the street so the city can pick them up. Then they will bring them back to the same place that turned me away. Doesn't make sense to me. Prior to this experience I'd have given 5 stars. Now I don't know what to expect.
