The ladies there were exceptional. When I called earlier with my dumb questions, Leslie was amazing and had by far the most helpful attitude and sincerely kind voice. Compliments to the Register of Deeds team. Ron

Had the most disrespectful and racial interaction with the manger and the lady that seat on the second cubical walking in kept rolling her eyes when I told her the way she handled the issues was racial.

NEVER GET YOUR PASSPORT HERE. It was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had. I was trying to get my passport for my trip that is in 9 weeks. The lady had me fill out the forms THREE TIMES because she kept telling me the wrong information to put down. I Gave her the money order, she didn’t know what I should have written on the money order because she has never seen a money order, even though it is one out of the two options to pay for a passport, the other way would be a personalized check. Next, they were suppose to take my photo for an additional $10, they take the photo and it’s completely out of proportion. It does not fit the passport photo guidelines. She even said “well this photo may or may not be accepted, and if it isn’t accepted they will send you a letter in the mail and say your application was denied, then you can come back and we will take it free with no charge,” yet they knew my trip was in 9 WEEKS. So why would they think I would want to delay the arrival of my passport? I was VERY ANNOYED. I decided to leave. Soon after I called the Passport services at May Memorial Library, and she saw me at 3:15 that day and told me that if I had gone through with their services, my passport would have been denied and delayed. THANK GOD I LEFT.

What you may get from the bank or Register of Deeds when your note is paid off is called a 'Satisfaction of Security Instrument.' If the bank tells us to send it to you after it is recorded, we will. If they do not, you may come to our office and get a copy for 25 cents per page..
