Open until 11 pm... I think. But still pretty late so yeah, it's open.
Yes. $3 for Lewisville Residents with an ID proving residency. $10 for others. $5 for Seniors 65+
Just so u know, Lake Park is a public facility with baseball diamonds soccer fields, picnic tables, etc. There is also a golf course with lights so u can play at night plus other private sport facilities like batting cages.
If all depends on what you are looking for. The park has a golf course with lights, meaning play at night; there are batting cages for baseball addicts, and there are many soccer, baseball fields, etc where leagues constantly play. Check it out.
Yes you can goole maps look at the area of park
Absolutely. My house! Lol. But seriously, the whole incline into the water should make getting a kayak in pretty easy.
$16 a night
Yes, as long as the ashes/charcoal are not dumped in the park and there is no burning ban.
Unsure as to why you were turned away, dogs are permitted at this park and there were many of them. All leashed
Of course, things like that are to be expected with today's modern equipment. With the exception of quiet hours and reasonable content (which could result in noise violation tickets, etc.). One should rather expect things like crowd noise and the sounds of people running around and having a good time? Community events are another story, but there's plenty of advance warning so...
And
Park is open until 9pm. Fee is $10 per vehicle. Not free. $50 seasonal pass is great.
Sand bass, bass cat fish crappie
Yes you can. If you're going to fish be aware. There is a disc golf course that is extremely popular and a part of the shore line is in play. Those discs come out fast and are dangerous. Just be mindful of where you pick your spot
And
they do not speak Spanish
Water level is extremely high.
The golf course is open, including the driving range which sometimes floods.
Yes 5$ per vehicle if u have a senior and 10$ non seniors. Please note its not 5$ /10$ per head. Its per vehicle.
If you are a resident, there may be an added annual fees for all park facilities. If you are from outside the city, as my wife and I, there may be an annual pass. I do not recall the ability to pay for such. But most places do. This is a wonderful park, and let the rest of us know when you get confirmation one way or the other!
6 to 9pm
I work there and no more tents they are turning everything into RV sites sorry!
Yes it does $5 for Lewusville residents 10 for non resident's however it is not even worth 2 cents all of the restrooms are closed off the camping arrea is torn up except a small area that does not have lake access. The o ly thing open is 2 boat ramps and porta potty all grills covered with plastic dont go there it is a gross missuse of public lands needs to revert to Corps of Engineers controll.
You can go out and come back withinthe same day without paying again I personally would not recommend going in tbe first place. It is not worth even a penny since everything except the boat ramps and port a pottys are all that you can use
Yes, think it os $10 for one vehicle but that was several years ago, probably more now.
Not in the public spaces.
do they have fire pits at each site? we will be camping in a tent?
If you follow the signs to the. " Fishing Barge" and then turn into the park you are in effect coming in the back way. You can park for free along the road and then walk on nice wide sidewalks into the main park. There is no charge for pedestrians.
its safe. but quite busy during holidays. shaded spots available
