Library cards are free for Irving residents. You can sign up for a card online or come to one of the branches and bring your photo ID with current address. If your photo ID doesn't have your current address, bring it along with a utility bill, phone bill or piece of mail that shows your current address.
Yes. Computer sessions are 1 hour in length. You can have 3 sessions per day with a library card in good standing.

$40 per year for nonresidents, computer use only cards are $10 per year
Currently, the kids and teen computers are not available. However, when they are available again, you can play some games on it, like Minecraft. You can always give us a call (972) 721-4669 to follow up with us, as we don't yet have a date that these services will once again be available.
Hi Betty! Right now, the Irving libraries are open for walk-in traffic by appointment only. Valley Ranch's drive up window is also accessible any time for holds pick up. If you'd like to come in and browse our Large Print section, we can make an appointment for you if you give us a call at the Valley Ranch Library after 10 a.m. at (972) 721-4669. Thanks!
