Oakwood Shores is a beautiful place to live in. Only because of how the apartments look on the inside. However the management team is terrible and unresponsive. You can never get a hold of the property owner to even make a complaint against the property manager. I have been reaching out for months and my issues are yet to be resolved. They lose important paperwork and falsely change things without the tenants knowledge. Another major issue is they need to find better maintenance workers that want to do there job. Stop lying saying they completed the work when you know you didn't. My house was flooded over 3 times and they never did anthing about my lightning fixtures. Mold on the walls and etc. They don't care about your well being or if you have kids. All the good maintenance men they once had end up quitting. Advice to property owner start listening to your tenants about their concerns, problems not getting resolved, maintenance issues and make sure you check up with residents to make sure work orders are properly done. Maybe you will have better reviews.

This is a negative infinity rating. This place is very unprofessional and it’s saddens me because it has potential. I hate to say but maybe if Caucasians ran this community it might actually thrive. It shows through simple minded security, lack of professionalism and communication, lack of quickness with work orders. The employees hired don’t seem fit. Security rides around and watch things happen; never take action but show up when police come acting as if they do their jobs! They will mock you instead of showing support, very childish bunch of clowns in cheap uniforms. They’re useless and it’s waisting community resources but they have units waiting weeks even months for fridges and very important necessities needed to survive. You will not feel safe! Bunch of parties in the parks filled w adults drinking smoking. Loud music loud crowds in the summer! SHOOTOUTS HAVE OCCURRED MORE THAN ONCE because of this mess. Very ghetto. Security never checks that but God forbid you have kids and live on the second floor! You’ll never be able to enjoy your apartment because they will harass you and you’ll be cited for noise complaints even if it’s before ordinance time. But they let fools party until dawn in the park! Noise that you can hear through your windows if close enough. How backwards? Or is it cowardly. Or is it favorites? Very confused. It’s not worth it do not apply here! Forget the waiting list go elsewhere! Good luck happy hunting! **************AND BEFORE THE OFFICE TRIES TO RESPOND TO ONLINE REVIEWS; RESPOND TO YOUR WORK ORDERS. YALL HAVE TIME TO BE CONDESCENDING BUT DON’T HAVE TIME FOR IMPORTANT THINGS. NEXT. IM DISAPPOINTED AND DISGUSTED AND THIS WHY BLACK PEOPLE CAN NEVER HAVE ANYTHING NICE. YALL UP HERE TRYING TO CORRECT YALL SELVES BY STATING PERSONAL INFORMATION UNDER THEIR REVIEWS! HOW SICKENING AND ITS ASKING FOR A LAWSUIT.

I'm trying to lease an appartment but none of their staff are not responding calls and the apply now option in website is also not working? It's a very bad experience from this type of community.

Based on the market and program guidelines, rents may increase from 2-3% per year. 2017 was the first increase in two years.
