I suggest you never order prescriptions from this pharmacy. They are very unreliable. In the last 3 months I have tried to order medication on the due date. Each time problems arise and we are without our medication for 3 days. When I spoke to the staff they suggested I go somewhere else to get my meds because the situation was not going to be resolved in the foreseeable future.

The geniuses in the pharmacy department told me the pharmacy they directed me to was open 24- hours- BUT THE STORE AND NOT THE PHARMACY is open 24 hours. The pharmacy is closed today. CAN’T GET MY MEDICATION. This horrible place filled with idiots needs customer service and systems training ASAP.

I am a REGISTERED NURSE- nursing compact license with the state of WISCONSIN. This is the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL pharmacy I have ever spoken with or utilized. It appears to be run by children- who place their own interests before patients. I doubt the female pharmacist working today has been a pharmacist very long. She gave me a pity party story of not having long enough of a lunch break. Go work somewhere else then or get into a different field. Go work as an RN and see how many lunch breaks you are able to take. I had a prescription, which I was figuring out the logistics of, while on a phone call with one of the pharmacy employees. I asked for the Walgreens address of the 24 hour location as I would not make the cut off time of this store’s closing. I asked this question at 1:31- one minute past the start of their lunch break and the woman on the phone refused to take one extra minute to get the address or that location for me and told me to call back in an hour. When I did call back and told the person that when they give addresses to people they should spell out the name of the street- she proceeded to berate me and hung up on me without spelling out the street so I knew where to get my medication. This is not currently a life threatening situation requiring medication - but is treating something that can lead to a kidney infection and possible sepsis and death. I suggest the pharmacy take a class on professionalism before messing with the health and well-being of individuals. They are clearly not patient advocate and hate their jobs. Absurd behavior.

This review is for the pharmacy at this location. Twice I've scheduled appointments online for flu shots and completed the paperwork/insurance information online each time. Upon arrival, there are three windows labeled Consultation, Pick-up and Express Pick-up. I wasn't picking anything up so went to the Consultation line. The pharmacy employees are always hard at work and friendly, so I understand needing to wait. However, scheduling an appointment means, well, having a set time for service that the customer expects to be met; otherwise, why have the option to schedule an appointment? Each time, my appointment was not acknowledged and I was simply told to wait in line. (If this pharmacy cannot comply with its corporate offerings, it should at least post or communicate via store signage or *something* that it only accepts walk-ins at that location.) Once my turn came around, there was apparently no record of my appointment and I had to wait while the employee input all my information into their computer, again, then was told to go fill out the very same paperwork that I had already completed. (Where did the information go that I had already entered prior to visiting the pharmacy, I wonder?) The shots were adminstered professionally and there were no problems with those, only the business practices and a complete disconnect between services offered and services recognized at this location. Next up is the drive-thru service. I prepaid for an Rx online and entered the drive-thru with three cars ahead of me at 1:15pm. The pharmacy closes from 1:30pm to 2:00pm for lunch. My turn came at 1:31pm with one more car behind me, but was told only, "The pharmacy closes from 1:30 to 2:00 for lunch. We'll be back at 2:00." Employee breaks and meals are extremely important, however, customers have no control over how long it takes to reach their turn, so if a customer has already waited in line and was there BEFORE the alotted lunch segment, maybe it would be a good idea to either a.) start staggering lunches, b.) have some signage up for drive-thru customers to the effect that if they ARRIVE between 1:30pm and 2:00pm the drive-thru will be closed, or c.) exercise a modicum of professional courtesy/integrity and take care of the people who've already waited in line instead of punishing them for things they have no control over, then take the lunch break. Having worked in and retired from the service industry, this event is so absurd I'd laugh if I wasn't so dismayed. This isn't a matter of "inconvenience"; this is a pharmacy... y'know, where people get *medicine*. If this were a drive-thru liquor store, there'd be little grounds for complaint, sure. So, two stars because, as stated, I've never seen the pharmacy employees slacking and they have always been friendly; if anything, they could probably use another set of hands in there. However, three strikes for failure to acknowledge appointment schedules, poor service practices and a lack of basic courtesy and professionalism.
