This facility has excellent staff and resources, and best of all, there is love and genuine concern in the culture of this place. My mother watched Windsor Place be constructed years ago, and had peers who took some of the first jobs that opened. Many years later, Mom became a resident in independent living when the need arose. I encourage those who are researching (Covenant) Windsor Park to give it serious consideration for its good business practices, family and resident education and mutual support and resident centered priorities.

A very warm, welcoming, supportive staff environment. I have loved getting to know the employees and staff. The way we staff members get to support each other and the residents is wonderful. I know I am able to make a positive impact with my work here at Covenant Living at Windsor Park! A great employer with wonderful benefits like a resident scholarship fund and tuition reimbursement to help with my next certification, PTO, paid holidays, great medical, dental, vision insurances, even pet insurance!!! They really care for my whole family.

Is a really nice place for the elderly unless you have a problem. In the independent living section apartments, there is a “pull in emergency” pull cord in every apartment bathroom. I had to pull it for an emergency where I was unable to get to the phone for 15 minutes and once I was, it took two calls to the front desk and the paramedics arriving at the building for the security guard to finally show up in response to the pull cord, around 40 minutes after I had pulled the cord for help. The security guard lied and said they never received a notification that the cord had been pulled and tried to blame me for his failure to perform his job. The pull cord was tested yesterday and works fine. Windsor tried to blame me for their incompetence and stated that I did not understand how the pull cord works. If it’s not for emergencies (as the pull cord states) for a staff member to come up to the apartment and check on the resident, then what is it for? Apparently, it is for looks only. Please be aware that if your grandmother or grandfather lives here, falls and needs help, but can only get to the pull cord and not the phone, no help will come for them.

I don’t believe the transitional concept they promote when residents signup holds true as life circumstances change. People come and go and very vague explanations as what expectations should be. Be very careful when going down this road and get details in writing. Great nurses but I don’t trust administrators.
