We are so thankful for finding Back to the Basics B and B. Dan and Tessa are super duper hosts! We are blessed beyond measure for the very comfortable and spotlessly clean room beautifully decorated. All 4 guest rooms have different personalities but all reflect our good God. Breakfast is ready—yum!!! Thank you, Dan, for accommodating our vegan needs! I wish we could spend another night. Well done, friends! SDG!

We had the pleasure of staying at this BnB one night. We booked the “Be still and Know” room which had a queen bed. To our surprise we were the only ones staying at the BnB that night so it was nice to have the place to ourselves. All pictures were representative of the actual accommodations. Tessa, the owner, couldn’t have been lovelier. She was very helpful, easy to communicate with, and makes a darn good breakfast burrito (breakfast included in room rate). She was taking precautions for the COVID-19 which put us at ease for staying there while we explored nearby Caprock Canyon state park. Would recommend and would stay again!!

Wonderful place to stay in a very small town in West Texas. Very large and beautiful room with amazing service. Fantastic breakfasts custom made just for me. When I need to stay in Quitaque, this is where I'll go. The owner is a licensed massage therapist and worked wonders on me after my 7 hour drive.
