Went to this thing call a ER. with severe pain in the back and down my leg. Sat in the waiting area for over a hour. Never got to be seen. Waiting room was so very nasty. Don’t waste your time ..

We had our baby here 9/9/22. The L&D nurses were fantastic very caring and attentive. My wife was induced at 12am and didn't want an epidural the nurses were respectful of this choice and had great suggestions to help labor progress by encouraging my wife to labor in different positions. Baby was born 8:06pm. Nurse Jenna was amazing. She put peppermint oil around the bed to help my wife relax then as the pain got worse she suggested my wife take a hot shower! The hot shower majorly helped her and we both were so happy this was even a possibility. Dr. Luecke was the same Dr that had been seeing us for care during pregnany and she is such a caring kind doctor. The post partum nurses were definitely less attentive. My wife needed help to the restroom and the nurse seemed agitated she needed help. Also, this hospital had horrible food. Don't plan to eat anything here (but that was minor).

Went there tonight for ovarian cyst rupture. I was in the waiting room with very bad pain for 3 hours and was told my situation wasn’t as emergent as everyone else, after asking why everyone (even after me) had gone in before me. Finally got in and was told by a doctor that I just “started my period” 2 1/2 weeks early after telling him I’ve never had irregular periods and it was period blood that I was experiencing, it was almost like red water. He openly told me I was wrong and it was just my period. He then refused to give me an ultrasound and told me he wanted to take me for a CT scan. I asked if the CT was going to be for my cyst and he said no. He was taking me to get my appendix checked and it would be 5+ hours because of their labs being slow. I told them I wanted to leave AMA and all of a sudden he was “mistaken” and it would only take 1 1/2 - 2 hours for the CT scan. He then told me if I left I had a high chance of death and that it was my appendix after telling him multiple times I already had my appendix checked and I had 0 symptoms of it but every symptom of my ovarian cyst rupturing. He still refused to check my cyst. I will NEVER be back to this hospital. They refused to help my with my issue and treated me like I was stupid. Worst “professionalism” I have ever experienced.

Yes they have it's really nice too.
Yes. We went there for a month straight in May and many visitors were allowed in a room. Rooms are private if you close the curtain/doors.
Call the family.
Early induction (having your baby before 40 weeks)is a discussion for you and your provider. [Please not a public forum]. This hospital is fully equipped to take care of any prenatal emergencies.
I'm not sure if Lakepointe does this, but a lot of hospitals will do what they call 'charity' surgery on pts. That's a very important surgery, so I know how much you need it. Know this, they can't turn you away because you have no insurance. They have to treat you. Hope this helps. Be blessed.
Only one per 24 hour period
