Overall, the Deem Hills park is awesome! The dog park is really nice and you can’t beat the views. We still want to try the hiking trails but it’s getting pretty warm. Beautiful park, highly recommend! 🐶🐶

New to all of this.... My concern is I have a 70 lb puppy and is still learning to behave. I have two older small dogs and he gets along with them. Will mine be Ok?

After being at the dog park hundreds of times, all I can say is dogs are dogs. But in almost all cases, even dogs that don't know each other seem to still respect each other. I have only seen a few small cases where a dog was overly aggressive towards another dog. In this case, it's the owners responsibility to remove the dog from the park. Most owners there don't tolerate over aggressive dogs well. I took both my dogs there as puppies and they did great. I think it was important to their development and would feel comfortable with a new puppy there as well.

I noticed there is an area for big dogs and little dogs but what if you have a big and little dog?

I've found that the dogs in the big dog side are generally a little nicer. I've seen a lot of little dogs on the big dog side, and to the most part, they get left alone, or they're played with gentler. But ultimately it's really your call, and you'll need to ask yourself certain questions. Like, does your big dog get nervous around other big dogs?
