I've been shopping at Elgin Nursery for well over 10 years now, & this is the best place to go for ornamental plants, shade trees, fruit trees, vegetable starts, seed packets, & all kinds of other plant-related stuff. No joke. I've shopped at nearly every nursery in the valley, & by & large, Elgin is where I prefer to go. Best yet, their staff has a wealth of knowledge & take home information; so if you have questions about what to grow, where to plant it, how to plant it, how to water it, how to maintain it, etc... they got you covered. Their location & accessibility is relatively nice as well, being close to two major highways in the West valley. I'm telling you folks, this is where you want to get your plants. Two thumbs up.
