Hi Edith. There are currently two ways to pick up materials from your library: 1. Stop by during the library’s Pop-In Pickup Hours (https://mcldaz.org/locations/) 2. Schedule a Curbside Pickup. Place your hold online or over-the-phone, schedule your pickup time, and we will bring your materials to your car. The first season of Call the Midwife is owned by the system - multiple copies. It is recommended that you place a hold on what you want. You may do so in person at the library, use the online catalog or call the library.
Some of the branches are open on Sunday. I could guess why you got called on a Sunday - automatically set up to days after overdue - but, best to ask at the library. You could have checked your account online for what was overdue. Online system is available every day all day. Sorry for the frustration. Thanks for asking.
