The Brisket Grilled Cheese sandwich was so delicious π

I love Carlβs BBQ for itβs wonderful service and great food! My family has been coming here for decades and I can happily say its continued to impress me every time I visit. Their JalapeΓ±o sausage and brisket are a highlight and with low prices like these, who wouldnβt want to take a pit stop by 290 to have an amazing meal. 10/10 in every way!

I used to go here my FD buddies years ago, and the food was great. Plus the ambience was wonderful. We used to sit on the patio, listen to the stream from the fountain, and meet various pilots walking over from the airfield behind. Today I took some friends thinking it would be the same. It wasn't. Ambience is gone, and the food is mediocre. I was slightly embarrassed to have talked it up as much as I did. Not worth the gas. So disappointed. Bring back the old flavors and environment please.

Went by during my lunch time wow this place is overrated smashed potatoes were dry, brisket was not to my liking and there were big flies everywhere. Maybe next time I will try the baked potato. The pricing for myself was $26. Disappointed.

I have been buying whole briskets from Carl's for nearly two decades. They do vary in fat content, but most of the fat is on top with some marbling inside which is necessary for cooking a juicy and flavorful brisket. I estimate the fat content to average around 20%, and the total weight averages around 11 pounds. It is always cooked/smoked to perfection! You can order either a hot or cold brisket, and I suggest you call ahead to order. There are 3 adults in our family. Each time I purchase a brisket from Carl's, I divide it into 4 sections, storing 3 of them it in the freezer for later use. One section a big enough to feed 3 BBQ loving adults a meal with enough usually left over for a fourth person. That makes 16 meals out of 1 brisket and comes to $4.68 per person, which is a great price, especially for BBQ of this quality. If you decide to eat at Carl's, and you are really hungry, I challenge you to order one of their loaded potatoes. It is massive and delicious!
We apologize for not having that on your turkey. The instructions are: Heat in a 250 degree oven for approximately 1 & 3/4 hours to 2 hours or until internal temperature reaches 165 degrees.
Masks required. Employees all masked and gloves. Tables spread apart. Looked like they were sanitizing tables after each customer
