Update: i accidently left a 4 star. It has always been a 5. My latest 3 large transactions are as satisfying as my previous experiences. I been using SSFCU since they arrived in Ingleside. Started my childrens accounts with ssfcu too. I have financed vehicles and loans in the past and recently refinanced a couple of loans, Kimberley Garcia has made the process as easy as I have ever experienced. I no longer live in the area but miss being able to walk in to see the friendly faces. Highly recommend- will continue to do business here!

Walked in without knowing what to expect as I moved to Texas days earlier and knew no one to get recommendations from. I knew I wanted a Credit Union as I'm a Credit Union fan because of straight forward service and no hidden fees. I like to do business in the community I choose to live so walked in to see how I felt about the place and staff. My first impression was unbelievably positive. Love the smaller branch feel and the staff there made you feel welcome to their office and the community of Ingleside. I approached the teller station stating I'm moving to the area and would like to open accounts. Miranda took me to her office, explained what Security Service Federal had to offer and I opened accounts. That's not where she stopped, she covered everything including check orders, where no fee ATM's are, great restaurants to eat at and other community information that was helpful to a newbee to Ingleside. I've been in there a few times since and she remembers me like we've been neighbors for decades, even giving me more recommendations. Miranda and the rest of the staff are the heart and soul of this business and I rate this place well beyond the 5 allowable stars. Check it out for yourself.
