I've been playing G. Bear for the past 2.5 yrs, we typically play 8-10 rounds here every year and had great experience. Our three some played in May and were horrified to the green condition..... so many unfixed divot marks !! The Greens used to be really nice here.... not anymore. What's the sense of getting 14 GIR's when u get up there to find Greens that remind u of the Moon 🌚 . I REALLY hope that they will be able to get the Greens back to what it used to be. We drive well over an hour but now we might have to think twice now

It might have been a wonderful golf course in it’s “heyday’s” but I was not impressed when I was there in early May at a time of the year when most courses are looking their best. With proper upkeep and some needed upgrades this can be a nice course again.

It's a beautiful and challenging course, but still enjoyable by golfers at all skill levels. Staff was courteous. Start early to avoid the crowds if playing on a weekend. Their app has a 3D flyover feature, which is quite helpful especially on the blind holes.
