I went in yesterday for a simple request... I wanted to replace the number on my existing Verizon account with a number that I wanted transported in from my AT&T account. That's it, I basically just wanted to change my number. I explained to the salesperson twice that I was already an existing customer and what I wanted to do, but what he decided to do instead was create a whole new account on top of my existing account, and then he charged me $80 for a new line and an activation fee so that he could get commission on a new gross ad. By the time I realized his mistake, they refused to give me a refund claiming they can't give refunds in-store on prepaid lines, even though he literally just charged my card 5 minutes beforehand. So now I have to spend my time on the phone with customer service trying to fix their mistake and trying to get a refund, but so far it seems like my only options are to keep my old line and cancel the new number, or keep the new number and cancel my old number while also losing my loyalty discount. So much for being a loyal customer of 15+ years. Thanks Verizon. I will never use this store again.

The representative was not personable at all. She was very short with me when I asked questions. I asked her to back up certain things and though she said she did, I was unable to retrieve them. This cost me money and aggrevation. I rarely have positive experiences at Verizon.

Another thing sir don't go to the severna park one they charge you. The next Verizon store is Passadena they don't charge. And ask for Dan he fixed my phone in 5mins when know one else would. Agreed, you will probably need a death certificate. You will needs lots of those as you move forward. Many places will return an original if you ask and some places will take a copy. Been there done that.
