Great hiking area, no facilities. Parking at trailhead large enough for rigs and easy in and out. Busy area for locals, so be considerate of that.

I live in this area and it disturbs me to see do many out of state visitors breaking the rules. Caught some kids from Arizona this evening on DIRT BIKES. There are NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES ALLOWED ON COYOTE HILL TRAILS!!! GO ACROSS TO TURKEY SPRINGS. I will track and report violators to the Forest Service.

Great hike. I would consider this an easy hike with little elevation gain. The trail could have been marked better.
