The trail was very nice and I crossed paths with many others using it. I walked the whole trail and back while my wife was playing a round of golf. Glad I'd brought a couple bottles of water as it was about 80° and the shade was minimal after the first third of the trail. Would recommend!

Excellent boardwalk and paved trail welcoming walkers, runners, bicycles, and inline skaters. Concrete/trex/asphalt surfaces with distance markers every 1/2 mile. Athletes of all levels make this a great fitness outing for families or solo too. Stay to the right as others pass on your left. Don't forget the sunscreen - highly recommended.

This boardwalk is really close from Brevard Zoo.Zoo is on a left and this Boardwalk in the end of the road ,which is less then a minute !limited parking ,zoo visitors take most of the parking.if you need your walking done ,this boardwalk is perfect! It is wide and long I would say about 6 miles if you get all the way to the end which ends at community development.mostly shaded, which is great during heat hours .You feel like in the woods while you there.could be really busy some days then others but it is worth it!;)could see a lot of birds and animals on way...

A wonderful path on a beautiful and ancient trial. So much history here and signs along the way to educate you as you walk or ride. Dogs welcome and a really nice walk. Plenty of room, and was basically empty on a Saturday afternoon. If you park near the zoo, you can walk foe two miles and turn back for a nice one hour stroll.

I'd report it to the sheriff office
I work at the Brevard zoo. The last I heard was the county was planning on 2018 to start construction. But I'm not sure if the hurricane put a delay on it.
For the most part, yes. It is not all paved though. There are plenty of boardwalk or pier style walkways.
Yes, you must purchase a ticket online for a timed entry, due to social distancing. Go to Brevardzoo.org for more info.
Yes wasn't my dogs favorite because its on a raised boardwalk but it is allowed.
The zoo itself is $25 per person over 11 yrs old. $15 for kids 3-11. Special add-ons cost extra. Check out the website for more details. Lineal Park is a free boardwalk outside the zoo that parallels I95.
Very bumpy for sure in a lot of places, but there is some smooth paced area nearer to the Pineda entrance.
It is a plastic lumber board walk so it should be ok
Motorized scooters for handicap are permitted.
With the latest extension, it's 3 miles...6 miles round trip.
The trail is free. I would suggest you have your dog on a leash do to all of the bike traffic since the opening of the extension also the trail is located past the main entrance to the zoo at the end of the road. Enjoy may I ask how you got my contact information.
No parking at the Turtle Mound trailhead.
