A fun place to walk with the family. It's very quiet and follows the Bayou but it's a dirt trail

Lovely nature trail. Interesting wildlife, one can see otters and daddys and bears, oh my!

This is a wonderful park to forge for wild mushrooms!

Nice trail. Would give it 5 stars, but sometimes there are creepy men there that look very out of place. People should be allowed to carry a gun on themselves, even if it's only concealed permit holders that are allowed. Just taking the sign down that says no guns, would make me feel much better. With all the weirdness happening in those woods, I feel it's an open invitation for something bad. I'm a grown 33 year old man, but I was nervous to walk back out the woods. They had 2 older men, wearing slacks and office clothes, that clearly looked like they were up to something. I didn't realize this place was popular with the homosexuals at that time, so I didn't know they were mafia or up to something else and I wasn't supposed to see them. I really thought I may have walked in on a murder or something. Not cool, people should be allowed to carry a small concealed pistol when they go hike in the woods.

It does not circle. I am fairly confident of that. I think the trail is a few miles long. The trail is not marked, but it is easy to follow.
There is a small parking lot at the pin on google maps. Park there and you can walk along the water. The path is maintained but not paved.
