There is a new super hero in our Ohio world these days! It’s Dr. Karen! She is so smart, gives all the correct information but still has a sense of humor on the stand. I have to chuckle at her when she is asked stupid questions and wants to laugh at the attorney, but just grins and answers smartly!

My friend died 4 months ago, and just 2 days ago they FINALLY confirmed it was him. I get that they may be busy but you told us on 12/08/2020 that we have results by Monday. We waited 4 months for closure, and that’s not fair.

My father passed and I've never had an experience with the coroner's office. I talked to Don Jasper who is an investigator. He was very mean, unsympathetic, rude, and completely non chalant towards my feelings. I can't believe they would have someone so unprofessional and uncaring working in this type of position. I hope I never have to deal with the coroner's office ever again even in death. Edited to Add Robert Daly who responded to my review is an outright liar. Don Jasper is a very mean hearted, unprofessional, angry, uncouth person and should never be working in this type of environment. He was not the investigator assigned to my case but that didn't stop him from giving me incorrect info about my father's death and insisting he was not a candidate for an autopsy when he actually was. The fact that Robert Daly would make a review responding to my review with lies lets you know the type of unprofessional place this is. I'm sure that Robert Daly is really Don Jasper. This facility that is suppose to care for your loved ones in death seem to have time to respond to unfavorable reviews. Any type of respectable business would have contacted me and tried to fix the situation instead of writing a review filled with lies to defend it.

You are quite welcome. Again, my condolences for the loss of your son.
You can also contact our office, with the individuals name and we would be able to confirm his/her death.
The coroner's office will transport the decedent or have a mortuary transport service transport the decedent. Some county coroner's will contract with an ambulance service to transport the decedent. The coroner will release the decedent to a funeral home and not take possession of the decedent if: the death is not suspicious. Not homicide/suicide. Not drug overdose. The decedent's doctor can sign the death certificate. Next of kin is available to contact a funeral home. In this case it sounds like the coroner would not take jurisdiction. The local police would contact the funeral home of the families choice.
Mam, with all due respect I already answered your question. Pick up your home telephone or mobile device. Call the Hamilton County Coroner's Office. Ask to speak with an investigator or a case secretary. You are asking a question of the GOOGLE COMMUNITY NOT THE HAMILTON COUNTY CORONERS OFFICE. I don't work for them. No one who responds to this works for them. You need to call them. Preferably during business hours.
You are ask ng a question of the Google Community not the staff or management of the HCCO. Any and all government agencies move slowly. For solid answers you need to call the HCCO and ask to speak with an investigator or a case secretary. My condolences for your loss.
The body of your deceased family member will be released to a funeral home. The funeral home will do the leg work and provide you with multiple death certificates.
You could always pick up the phone and telephone their office and ask.
You are asking a question of the Google Community not the staff or management of the HCCO. You would need to call and ask an investigator.

Yes, they are public record. You probably have to file a Freedom of Information Act request.
Are you asking about Temitayo Afolabi? They believe his death was self inflicted. You can request a Coroner's report on the case. It is public information. I'm not sure of the procedure to get the report. You could call and ask to speak to an investigator.
Please call in person to make your inquiry with one of their investigators.
If ID is on body the coroner won't allow a family to view in their possession unless they do not have positive ID. The only way to be able to view the body is through a funeral home.
It depends on who is requesting it and why because autopsies aren't done in every case if the police or basically the investigators request it then it's paid for by them but if the daily requests it and the coroner didn't think it was necessary then the family is responsible
How do I get cause of death for my sister? Death certificate says pending. She's been dead since 2015. The coroner did an autopsy on her. Please help
