On 7-20-2021 I was seen by NICHOLAS A. EARLY. I was actually referred to see someone else but they were no longer there. I was very hopeful walking into that appointment. I had been having a lot of knee pain for a couple months before. I went in to the appointment the front desk staff was great, the woman who showed me to my room was very friendly. The doctor came in and I told him what was going on with it. He felt it, then told me just to work out the knee and lose weight. No X-ray. He then printed me off a paper and sent me on my way. (spoiler alert working it out didn't help) I have taken my issues elsewhere and know that my spacing is wonky and the left side of my joint is rubbing together. Something that would have been seen if he had cared enough to take an X-ray.

On August 17th, I saw Dr. Fritch at this location. The office staff were friendly, the x-ray technician was also nice. My time with Dr. Fritch was neutral, neither bad or great. During my visit, Dr. Fritch looked at my ankle. He suggested orthotics and physical therapy. I told him that I wanted a more permanent solution, like surgery (as the pain I feel is from an old injury in 2014 and it really impacts my life). He said that a colleague of his would have to look at my ankle, as he didn't specialize in ankle surgery. He did go ahead and order an MRI. On August 20th, I got the MRI. After this, I assumed I would receive a follow up call from OrthoCincy to schedule another visit with the other doctor (whose name I do not know) that Dr. Fritch had mentioned. Nothing. On September 6th, I called this location and explained the situation. I advised that I wasn't sure if I was responsible for making the appointment or if I was supposed to have gotten a call. The woman I spoke with stated that she didn't see anything in my chart about another doctor. She said she would call me back. I got the impression that she was going to reach out to Dr. Fritch and get back with me. It is now September 21st, and I still haven't heard anything. I suppose I will need to try to figure out who this orthopedic surgeon is myself, or go to another orthopedist outside of this organization. Edit: I ended up making an appointment with Dr. Gates at Highland Heights. I found his name in some videos that OrthoCincy has posted. He was exceptional. If you have ankle or foot needs, see Dr. Gates.

So good to hear that nothing serious was wrong and my son just needed to learn how to do squats correctly. Now he can get back to regular life. Thanks for your help!

So. What is your question?
Go to their website for closest location. But, if you thing that you will need a cortisone shot, you will want to go during normal hours because the weekend staff (at least at 8 Mile) are not permitted to do shots and you will get a prescription for pills.
Yes. I'm on Aetna and they take that one.
