The area is beautiful. Heavy forest, like nature is alive. Found a blue hole about 10 minutes in from blue trail side.

The waterfalls and hiking trails on this area of the mountain are breathtaking. You need to see it to appreciate it... it’s just so serene and beautiful and can just take your breath away... enjoy the great outdoors...

Great place for hiking. Get there early to get a parking space if not you'll have to park in the opposite street. We got there at 10 am and place was almost full. In the summer time you can bring your swim suit as there are a couple of places, in the green trail, that you can stop and take a swim

We did the red trail up to Mt. Tammany. The hike is strenous about 1.5 miles up with a steep incline but the view up the mountain is beautiful of the river. Take the blue trail down.

It is one of the popular and most scenic hike. It could be medium to strenuous hike depending on the loop you pick. If you want to avoid crowd try weekdays if you can or at least start early on weekend. If you wish to chose do only the pond then check the trail which leads directly toward the pond and back
