A Publix store will be opening soon and can't come quick enough for this area, this Kroger's is over priced and not very clean, always out of stock and long checkouts. I kick myself everytime I make the mistake of stopping out of convenience, those days are limited.

This location and store chain in general is trash. I would avoid it if possible, but unfortunately it's one of the only food stores in the state. I've purchased products multiple times to get them home and notice a bad smell, or that they are expired. This has happened with Natalie's Orange Juice, Miyoki's vegan butter, Idaho potatoes, pre-cut refrigerated fruit, and Beyond Meat products. My latest experience just occurred this weekend, 9/24/2022. I opened a package of Beyond Sausage I just bought that day and noticed discoloration and specs. I returned the product to the store the next morning and noticed the expiration date was 9/20/2022 (see picture). The product was still on the shelf being sold on September 24, 2022. In addition, the Kroger store chain is very racist. Its employees profile black shoppers and they greet white customers while ignoring black shoppers. This has been my consistent experience since moving to Kentucky and shopping at the chain for the past two years. Either the store needs to train its employers, or it supports their racist and discriminatory behavior. Kroger will be in for a ride awakening when Publix opens in the state next year. Once it does, Kroger will never have me as a customer.

4 months ago This place has had constant long lines to check out for months. Even the self checkout. They routinely have only one self checkout lane open. Lines every single day!!! Yet they do nothing about it. Other Krogers not this bad. 9/23 Used the pickup service today. Waited 20 minutes for someone to finally come out and tell me they didn't have the food the website said was available. Par for the course for this place.
