This is the worst red roof I’ve ever been to, i first decided to book at red roof because I used it in many other locations and it was pretty good. The room cleaning service is so bad i came to my room to find no towels the bathroom weren’t clean the floors haven’t been cleaned this time or I think ever before the mirrors and the sink haven’t been cleaned! I made a complaint they came up changed bedsheets left towels and left. Don’t come here and expect this red roof is as clean as any other one you ve ever been to!

The check in process is a nightmare. They do not allow you into the lobby, so you have to stand just inside the entrance at a makeshift concierge counter behind plexiglass and talk to the associate who you can barely hear behind the glass. We booked our trip through Expedia but they had no record of our reservation Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience and asking how they can help resolve it, they gave us the customer service number for Expedia and told us to call them to figure out the disconnect. Time was tight as we were going to a wedding that evening, and we had no place to stay. I had to ask them what was available, to which they started asking what price Expedia gave us when we booked through them. It was unbelievable. Eventually, we got a room, which was fine for the night we were there. But for over $300 per night, this was hands down the biggest rip-off I've ever suffered through. I would never stay there again.

I had to cancel my reservation last minute since I had a family emergency. Hotel said it wasn't possible and I had to settle the compensation which is equivalent to one night stay.. which is fine. I paid, but then they charged my card an extra $100 for some odd reason and kept charging my card even if I already cancelled my booking. I asked the property they only charged what was there on their receipt and didn't do anything else to fix the whole issue. Mind you, all of this happened, I didn't even get to the hotel to actually check in! Overall experience was very poor, staff was rude and not accommodating at all. DO NOT BOOK!

Was surprised by the number of long-term residents this hotel has. I would say a min of 1/3 of the hotel is housing residents being paid by the the state. It was not uncommon to find groups of people sitting outside their room smoking pot on a daily basis. The smoke was so strong that the cooling units would pull the smoke into the rooms. Rooms are not as pictured (well they may have been years ago). The lobby shown is accurate but is not accessible to customers and all transactions with the office staff is through a bullet proof tellers window in the entry of the hotel. Rooms are dated, bathrooms not the cleanest, bed linens stained and burn holes in the duvet on the bed. Floor sticky, safe did not work, but you are charged $1.50 per day unless you ask for a refund at the end of your stay. The rooms need a good cleaning, painting, and new furnishings. I will say they have done a excellent job with the lighting outside. This complex is lit up bright. Parking lot also has recently been coated and nicely striped. Not a friendly hotel for family's, older adults, or single women.
