Gorgeous high elevation spot along jacks Creek which flows into the Pecos River. Nearby trails will take you to high mountain lakes, creeks, and beautiful vistas!

We had a Great time here trails to walk and a nice location. They close for the season in 1 week. There is a stream nearby that is good for fishing or serene enough for relaxing and dipping in your toes.

This camp spot is great! Definitely arrive early because it’s first come first serve. The fees are per car, not per site or per person. And the camp host was super friendly. There was even a hiking trail near the camp grounds that was pretty fun and easy to get to. We stayed at the camp spot right beside the start of that trail. The dogs loved it!
