Great Sanibel Island shoulder season rv stay that lacks only on-site wifi. Sanibel has miles of bike/walk paved paths and very good access to the excellent, clean beaches. An upper scale vibe is a little off-putting, but it is, after all, an island. We liked that the heat, apparently, kept the occupancy low at this park during our early May stay. When it is full it may be noisy in the RV section, but we had quiet nights and limited traffic near our site. We will surely schedule another stay here in a shoulder season.

A gated RV park nestled in a very well manicured resort off of Periwinkle Way on Sanibel Island. My wife Ashley and I stayed for twelve days and nights and we loved every minute of it. Truly loved the Aviary and it stoled the show each and every day. We just had to see Peaches & Piper and Ashley couldn't go past Dusty Rose without giving her some grooming... Shower house was well kept as was the Laundry, Mail room, numerous refuge collection stations as well as recycling collectors. Each lot was spacious and had a large concrete pad for outdoor dining and cooking. It was very easy to maneuver travel trailer into assigned lot... Approximately a 20-30 minute leisurely walk to the beach or 10 minute bike ride out the back gate. This resort is located within walking distance to some very fine dining or a short cruise to anywhere on the island for your dining pleasure. We highly recommend this resort park for those who are considering a RV getaway on Sanibel.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Management and Staff, at Periwinkle Park. From the moment of checking with the front office, to the staff that greeted us every morning, Periwinkle Park you exceeded all our expectations. This was my family's first, camping trip in our Camper. We absolutely loved it. Campgrounds and common area(Bath facilities/restrooms) clean and very well maintain. Especially, through Covid19, you can see the extra precautions taken be the maintenance staff to ensure everything is extremely clean. The entire property, is well maintained, with the exception of when it rains. The close proximity of the beach makes it easily accessible, The kids were able to enjoy along the morning rides to the beach everyday, to see the most magical Sunrises. The Sunsets we even more spectacular. The cool weather, made it absolutely beautiful and perfect for us to enjoy all the outdoor activities, on the island. We will definitely be back, PeriwinklePark.. xoxo Dhanani family.

This place is AMAZING. So peaceful and quiet, staff is so friendly and helpful. Family owned since the 1970's...take the time to meet the owner, Dave, he's a friendly guy, willing to go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant. Just drive slow and check in at the gate, and you will have zero problems. Beautiful birds, adorable primates, and a short walk a few blocks to the beach. Will DEFINITELY be returning!

There is no room for boats or Marina on this property not quite sure about golf carts didn't see many of them that we're not part of the RV park maintenance
You should call the office. They are likely to know who is renting
Places for tents and of course places for campers. Ive been to the keys and several beaches in north, south Carolina and virginia and the only place I'll go back to is sanibel. Great place and people but don't tell too many people let's keep it a secret lol
Not sure but I have seen people using them.
They are posting a price of 1700 a month. But I'd call to see if they will have space.
The beach is about a 10 minute walk from the park. There are signs to guide you to the beach. It is a very easy walk.
Hey dave not too sure on that one. I was just doing a tile job there and most of those places are trailers with very narrow roads, but the girls are very helpful there I'm sure if you call and ask them, they can guide you in the right direction
Can not help call them I am sure the rates vary with the season
Quarter mile out the back
You need to call or fill out the form online. Just to let you know it's almost impossible to get a seasonal site in the winter.
Two people in camper =50/55 not sure of a tent. Plenty of room tho.
Don't know but worth a call I see people camp in tents and campers
There are spots with full hookups, we're 35' and have full hookups. There are campers here for a day or two. You'll need to call to check on availability.
Definitely worth seeing. It is a highlight of my visits.
It's a great place without rock climbing for kids. Feeding the birds when the handler is there and learning about their liked about dislikes and personalities is a lot of fun. Our kids loved it. Close to the beach and bike paths in front of the park offer access to the whole island by bicycle.
No! They have a lot of wildlife at the camp (birds, ducks, monkeys, etc) and don't want any animals to disturb the wildlife.
Owner occupied Only- nontentals of RVs or mobile homes
You will need to contact the office for rental availability.
They do have year round camping with trailers, but you do have to call. There is usually a waiting list for the winter months
