After many years I came back here to show my family the spectacular views. The drinks, service and views were the best this about this place which is why I gave them a 4 star. Unfortunately I feel like they only do the minimum when it comes to their food because they can get away with it because of their view and location. Food is definitely lacking in flavor, the only thing I liked was the queso and some of my fajitas but they definitely need to upgrade. They have added vendors inside and they had plenty of room to sit at, inside and out.

The views and restaurant are spectacular!! It definitely was worth checking out. There are several small gift shops in this area. Our waitress was friendly and handled our large party well. I ordered the Chicken club and the bread was amazing. I wasn't feeling the chicken and pulled it off the sandwich. Which was much better. I wish there was a BLT or wrap option on the menu. If we had more time I would have liked to do a kayak ride on the lake.

I had not been to the Oasis in many years and was surprised how much it had changed. The buildings are nice, and the place is big. It was also busy, but we had no problem finding a place to park. We came early on a Saturday afternoon. We had lunch in Austin earlier and came just for cocktails and to check the place out for a future group get-together, so I can't comment on the food. There was a line for the restaurant, but we saw a banner for the Oasis Brewery and went upstairs. When we got to the next level, there was a sign on the door that it was closed for a private event. We then went up to the top level and found an outdoor deck area with picnic style tables and an indoor area with normal table seating. There was a live band inside. There was a cocktail bar in the outdoor area, but no one was there. We walked around looking at the views and then found a seat at one of the outdoor tables, despite it being crowded. I went inside and waited in line at what turned out to be brewery. I got to the ordering station and asked about cocktails. The bartender was unaware that the lower level was closed and had to go talk with a coworker. I then asked about the adjacent cocktail bar and he said it was closed (This was during the heat of the day on a Saturday afternoon.) I went back to our table and we sat for about five minutes when I saw someone go behind the bar and open it up. I got a couple of drinks that were good. The bartender was neither rude, nor friendly, just business. The view is fantastic! The drinks were good. The service side seemed unorganized and maybe a little spotty. I'll probably bring a group back soon, but with the expectation that the great view will be tempered by so-so service, lines, slow pace, and a crowd.

If you want a really nice view this is the place to eat. The food is decently good. The service is not worth what you pay. Nice people. Just very preoccupied. I would highly recommend the nachos! Great place for photos.

Kids will enjoy the wide variety of things to see, from the statues to the vistas, the open space, the candy shop...
Yes it is a bar and restaurant and music venue that overlooks Lake Travis.
Yes the "La Villa Vista Lake Travis" is within walking distance.
you can just enjoy the view and take pictures
It is called Lovers lock Lane. It is to lock your memories at The Oasis. Locks can be brought from home, or purchased in the gift shop
We have had live music, since March, in our Starlight Terrace every Sunday night. Dance floor has been open as well. Come on out Sunday and give the floor a whirl!!!!!
Yea! But get you a yummy drink too!
I went in April and it wasn't bad we just walked I. There is plenty of seating. But in would call just to make sure since the weather is better.
Yes. 90% or more is wheelchair accessible. We have three elevators to help get to all area.
I just called. The automated message says they don't accept reservations. First come, first served.
As early as 11:00 - 11:30 you are on the safe side. Otherwise I would make a reservation.
Agree view awesome. Food mediocre
Best view, food is o k. For best Mexican food, Fonda San Miguel, hands down.
Don't know about the nachos. We had steak fajitas and they were excellent.
Fair "Warning", Do Waste your time and money going to this place. the food sucks the tortillas not even homemade. It's a waste of a drive and your precious time... I give them 0 Ratiing for food.
The indoor bar to the right of the main entrance has televisions. I'm not sure if you'd be able to hear the television broadcast, but they are available to watch.
The Oasis does not take reservations
Yes
Yes. They can be purchased on the website and will be texted or emailed to you pending your preference
We are closed Thanksgiving Day and Christmas day
There were some staff that spoke Spanish.
There is no need to book, you can arrive and voila, the site is huge.
I went on Wednesday at around 5:00 pm. It was FULL. 45 minute wait to get a table for just 2. The service was slow, and incompetent. Server was not knowledgeable on menu items or even what was on our plates.
No it's too high up the mountain. Must drive
No, there is no way to get to the restaurant from the lake. We are built on a cliff over 400 feet above Lake Travis.
Hello! Unfortunately we do not have live music due to Covid. The few times that we do have a band its just some back ground music, we do not have a dance floor, due to covid and the social distancing rules. Hopefully we will get to start having bands out again soon. Keep checking our website. Thanks!
That is correct, no there is not a hotel on site, but there are several great places to stay close by. I suggest googling lodging near 6550 Comanche Trail 78732. Hope this helps.
Yes they do have live music. No reservations at this time.
No
Yes we are. From 11 am until after sunset.
Yes
Great view. 3 salads lacking flavor. One so hot one of our party couldn't eat. A pasta soup more like a pasta sauce.
There are many places close by. You have Vintage Villages, Holiday Inn Four Points and Mountain Star Lodge in Lakeway.
A little bit, but is not good quality..! Only you can enjoy the lake view that is amazing
There's been a gallery associated with the restaurant for a long time. And they've added a number of other establishments over the past years. But as far as I know, none rent watercraft.
The Oasis does not take reservations. For special events only, Mother's day buffet, Easter buffet, Valentine's sweetheart dinner, NYE Celebration and Father's day brunch reservations are recommended only for those events. General dining never takes reservations. The reservation policy can be found on the website.
Yes, of course only you can not drink alcoholic drinks
If it's a group event I guess you'll have to reserve. Otherwise they don't take reservations.
I don't know what It's the name of the band, but they play really good... Salsa latina Everybody was dancing!!
We can accommodate parties upwards of 400! Please call 512-266-2442 and ask for Adam in our special events department. He will get you taken care of!
On The website has the answer .
This is a casual place. But check with the people who out your event together for the banquet attire.
They have music but it is really a place to eat and drink and socializing. If you wanted to dance I do not think anyone would stop you but it is not a place for dancing. How that helps. Was just there last week.
They don't take reservations for small parties is what my understanding is.
No we are not.
Yep, there are a lot of spots for taking nice pics
Hi Ruben, The Oasis only has live music and Salsa during their peak season which is March-October. You can still go enjoy the sunset and good food though.
Most areas around the Oasis are open. All back roads have been reopened
the restaurant itself will not flood. There are a few low spots on the way that may be problematic.
I dont remember seeing Vegan stuff, check their menu online.
Check their schedule.
11 - 8:30 or so
We are located 450 ft above Lake Travis. We have no docks or boat access
No
All correct, open for business. But you might consider only going for drinks and making meal plans elsewhere.
We are not pet friendly
They don't take reservation. It's best to go there a little bit early before sunset to avoid the long waiting
Salsa lessons are only on Sunday night when the band takes a break. About 15 minutes.
The fireworks it is not In the oasis restaurant place it was in other places but I don't know the place name
Go for the view and the sunset. Don't go for special food.
Residence Inn by Marriott Austin Lake Austin/River Place
Oh, they don't accept reservations. And be prepared for long wait times on holidays and weekends for dinner
Depending on weather, I would expect it to be above average but fathers days are not celebrated as much as mothers day. You should be able to get in in 30 to 45 min
I don't think so but there may be one close by. I know that being so close to the lake there must be summer and weekend rentals, boat rental and party barge tours .
Restaurant might be closed but you might still see the amazing sunset from the shopping complex, if that's the goal
Not a question for maps. Call them for a more accurate answer
Call The Oasis or look up website for info.
You go there for the view not the food. There are many other place in town with much better food and price.
