I wish I could give ZERO STARs because this company's billing practices are simply atrocious. I have children with medical needs who often have to go to a nearby children's hospital and there might be the case that an X-ray or two might be needed and is done, which I believe is then contracted to this horrible of a radiology company for the actual readings of the tests. I pay the bills submitted to me by the hospital and doctors as soon as I get them. I won't receive any other communication or billing from anyone else, but months (six or so) will go by then all of sudden I get a singular threatening letter from this shady radiology company telling me that I have ignored their initial notice and that this is my final notice or else my account will be sent to a collection agency. The is the standard practice and modus operandi of this company, as this has happened numerous times to us and not just on one or two isolated incidents. Every time you will call to inquire about this supposed "initial" notice (which you never receive) you will be told that the maybe such a letter was lost (in the mail or otherwise) but without any further explanation, details or evidence as to if and when this phantom first letter was created and apparently sent to you without you receiving it. After the months of haggling and the back and forth "negotiating" with the insurance company and/or medical facility this despicable company then decides upon a "cost" and simply send you one FINAL NOTICE letter threatening you to pay or else. This corrupt billing practice should not be allowed.

I received a bill. I contacted the 800 phone number. That system indicated I did not owe any money. I persisted. After several attempts, I was finally able to speak to a human being. Radiology Assoc of North Texas had 2 accounts for me, one of which didn't have a phone number attached. Their mistake. After resolving this issue, I was asked if I wanted to be put through to the automatic payment system. Fine. I got disconnected. I called back again, and after waiting too long, was finally connected to another human being. She was helpful, and suggested I pay the account online. I was then asked if I wanted to take a survey. Boy did I! The survey didn't load. I tried many times, unsuccessfully, to load the survey. No luck. So I tried the “chat” feature with Stepanie A. She was completely unhelpful.

They charged us for a service which we didn’t have. We paid for all services but still send us bills. This is unacceptable!!!

This is in reference to the billing service they use. Expect a very nonchalant, could care less attitude from some of their customer service reps( CSRs). Our bill was never submitted to Medicare as it should have been initially. We called on May 9. We were told it would be submitted. We received an additional notice from our secondary insurance on May 17 stating the bill had never been submitted. We called today - the first time was with a CSR who sounded like she had no clue how to find us. We requested to speak to a supervisor. We were put on hold for 20 minutes. The second time we called, the CSR hung up immediately when we requested to talk to a supervisor. The third time we called fortunately we were connected to someone who sounded like she was on the ball. She informed us the bill had indeed been sent to Medicare on May 14. It would seem they need to do extensive training with some of their CSRs. Don't be surprised if you encounter total incompetence when calling about a bill that has not been submitted properly.

I got two! Both for Jan 2016. Haven't lived in TX since 2011, was a hospital we never had been to - EVER (verified by hospital it wasn't us), and now I have attempted 3 times to clear this with Radiology Associates to get it removed from collections AND our credit report. Good luck to you! We are hiring an atty if not resolved by Feb 28, 2020!

Wondering why after verifying with the hospital billing dept the bill you sent to collections was not ours, and letting Leo in billing know this by phone on Jan 28, 2020, how long it takes to have someone to remove from collections?
