I work for Dr. Pratt and before finding this job with his office I have had several horrible experiences with other offices. Dr. Pratt and our team is the best decision I made. I love working with such a wonderful team. Dr. Pratt and team makes you feel good about coming to work every day.

Dr Christopher Pratt is by far the BEST pain management doctor in the entire DFW area. I am in my late 50’s. I had scoliosis surgery at age 15. I had neck surgery about 12 years ago. I suffer with a lot of pain and debilitating issues. I need surgery from scalp to crack is what I know and I refuse to do that at my age. A total reconstructive spinal surgery. I have two 12” Harrington rods in my back and a plate and screws in my neck. That’s enough. They say if i don’t have it I will be crippled but I’m not going through total reconstructive spinal surgery. I found Dr Pratt about 12 years ago now and he has been doing injections and Rhizadomys for me for years. I can tell you that there is NOT another compassionate doctor out there like Dr Pratt. He cares! He really listens to you. He knows when you’re scared and he helps to calm you. He will take his time and answer all your questions. He feels for you. He is so kind! When you go to the procedure center, everyone there is so nice. They all do their very best to make sure you are comfortable while waiting your turn after prep. Dr Pratt always comes in to visit with you prior to your procedure. So does the anesthesiologist and the X-ray team, if you need them like I do. You meet everyone that’s taking care of you and they will all answer any questions you might have prior to your procedure. Every procedure that Dr Pratt has performed on me has been a success. I am actually going today to see Anthony and schedule my next rhizadomy. They give me relief for about 6-8 months and help tremendously with giving me the ability to still enjoy life. In June my mother broke her back in two places. It took two months of her going to doctors before I finally said, you’re going to see Dr Pratt. For two months my mom, in her late 70’s laid in bed with no pain medicine, in excruciating pain, and she has seen Dr Pratt now twice and has so much relief. She is actually walking this morning after an injection yesterday without her cane. This proves the procedure he did yesterday for her worked wonders and she can now have a rhizadomy for relief. Dr Pratt also found that my mom has no calcium left in her spine. She has seen a back surgeon and a neurologist and neither offered help or told her about the no calcium in her spine. Because of Dr Pratt, we can now seek out what is best for her now to help with that issue. I’ve read a lot of reviews here that have said things about him or his assistant. It is true, if you want to see Dr Pratt, you have to tell them that or you will see Christie or Anthony. I see Anthony quite often, as I know Dr Pratt is so busy helping people. Anthony is wonderful. He is kind and caring and listens as well. Christie is great. She knows what she is talking about. She has seen me many times over the years. She has set me up for probably over half my procedures after she listens and examines me. Know that his team really does care about you. Bottom line, Dr Pratt is a household name around our family. I have discussed recipes with him prior to a procedure right before Thanksgiving. He loves to cook. He is a dedicated family man. He loves his family that he works with as well and they actually exchange recipes and cook and share things. Point is, coming here I’ve become a part of a bigger family, and Dr Pratt and his work family have become part of my family. I have no hesitation to follow his lead. He has kept me walking the last years and as long as he can I will continue to go and let him help me keep from another surgery and at a minimal pain level for the rest of my life. I only pray he doesn’t stop practicing prior to my death because I don’t know what I would do without him and his work family. They are the BEST you will find. Coming from a girl that has had back surgery, neck surgery, and had to manage pain for 40+ years now. I’ve seen a lot of doctors around the state and two other countries and Dr Pratt is the only one to get my 5 stars! Thank you so much Dr Pratt! I love you!

He does not traditionally do medication management. You should probably make an appointment to discuss with him.

Your website says you are open until 3:00 pm on Fridays, but whenI called at 12:45, the recording said the office closes at noon. Which information is correct?

On Friday, the phone lines turn off at noon, to allow us time to stay on top of claims and scheduling. We are still working in the Fort Worth office until 5pm, like a normal business day. The crew that goes to Granbury every Friday usually finishes up out there around 3pm.

Do you take my insurance. I have AARP Medicare complete, United health care. Plus, I need a place that not only takes my insurance, but if I need a procedure do that that place also takes my insurance. Please help.

We do accept that insurance, but we need a physician to physician referral. This insurance also requires a pre-authorization for most procedures, so keep that in mind when it comes to scheduling.

I'm wondering why they have a recording telling people to call back during "Normal business hours" when it is, in fact, during said hours? Quite often I will call at 3:30 PM and be told they are closed and to call back between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, our typical phone hours had changed. Dr. Pratt is big on family, and likes to give his staff the opportunity to spend time with their family as well. Now that Thanksgiving has past, our normal phone hours will return. 9am-12pm 1pm-4pm. Sorry for the inconvenience.
