Don’t let the pleasant tone and demeanor of the GM Tyler fool you. Medical traveling professionals unless your company has a direct set price or contract DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. I am a traveling professional GM was aware of this. Was told one price and then told we never spoke about that. I take responsibility because I should have got it in writing. I can assure you though that I never asked to stay in a King Suite at $94.00 during the week and $145 on the weekend. I just needed a reasonable room, somewhere to lay my head. I also kept getting reoccurring charges that tied my credit card up. I also brought this to Tyler’s attention it was resolved one time but started right back up. He didn’t even think to offer me the option to draft my payments every Saturday like his other travelers. The fact that Tyler ignored my emails and then tried to act oblivious when we spoke was all the confirmation I needed. Overall, the hotel is nice and well-kept the General Manager Tyler just left a bad impression and if this is one of the representatives of Choice Hotels and Sleep Inn I will not be staying at another establishment affiliated.

Hotel was very clean and our room was nice. My family did not sleep well due to a vent slamming in the bathroom the third floor. Shutting the bathroom door seemed to help a little!

The hotel was beautiful, clean and well equipped. The best part of the experience was interacting with Shai, the afternoon desk associate. She was professional, friendly and very helpful. I would recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again.

I have stayed at dozen of hotels in Illinois. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make my stay and that of my team enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting south jacksonville, IL. Thank you so much Mr. Thompson( A great GM), Mr. Robert, Shay, Daniella and the rest you guys Rock.
