I have not had Greenlight yet. I have been interested in signing up, but I will not do so at this time due to all the negative reviews I am reading about their customer service. I feel compelled to write this to let the company know that cost is not the only factor in determining a loyal customer. I am disappointed because I was really excited to try them but I can't take any chances as I work from home and need reliable service which I am getting from Spectrum. They are just expensive. Well, guess you do get what you pay for.

Unreliable and inaccessible. All real customer service is unavailable after 5 pm. Every problem is exacerbated by their abysmal hours. Clearly just a money grab with no interest in customer experience because it is severely lacking

We switched to Greenlight yesterday and the two young men that came out, Nick and Simeon, were the most professional, courteous, and competent technicians we could have hoped for. They installed our new service seamlessly with minimum alteration of our home. Before they left they made certain all our devices were up and running. We could not have asked for better service, these two men were terrific! Congratulations to Greenlight for hiring these guys!!

I've been waiting for Greenlight to come since we moved into our home six years ago. We just got it today and it did not disappoint. The guys that came to install the ONT box were incredibly friendly and explained what they were doing which helped me provide them the information they needed for navigating around our house. Anyone looking to switch should take the time to read the communication that is sent out to customers as well as read their website for their useful resources. I opted in for the base plan and it's double the speed from when we had Spectrum. The communication leading up to becoming a customer was very helpful and made the process very easy. I also opted in for SMS and that's been a nice feature leading up to the install. One thing to note if potential customers don't know -- Greenlight works with local contractors for the whole process (construction to install) which is why it may seem fragmented but it doesn't affect the quality of service that GREENLIGHT offers. I also made sure to get a recommended router that would allow the same speed that I signed up for which is key. The customer portal is very straightforward and makes it easy to communicate with Support. I'll update once I'm a customer longer than an hour but the process (thus far) has been awesome. Thank you Greenlight!

Hey Bruce! So I just recently got greenlight in our new place. All I needed to have was a WiFi router that was capable of 2.4ghz & 5ghz frequency and can deliver up to 500gps minimum, so a wifi 5 router or greater is recommended.

We are a real internet provider. We provide high-speed fiber Internet to nearly 90,000 homes in 20 municipalities in the Rochester, Buffalo, Binghamton, and Albany areas.
I would contact the Greenlight Project Manager for your area - you likely had one come to the property/left his business card + a letter prior to digging. We had to go to Greenlight on E Henrietta Rd in person and sign paperwork the other day.
We only provide Internet.
